President of the Management Board, Co-owner of the company
He has been the co-owner of Nowy Styl Group and the President of its Management Board since 2009.
His studies at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow were interrupted by his trip to the United States where he worked for the Whyte company. The experience he gained in the US was the main driving force that encouraged him to start his own business. In 1992, together with his brother Jerzy, they decided to register Nowy Styl sp. z o.o. which is now the 3rd biggest furniture company in Europe.
In 1999 Adam Krzanowski was awarded the first prize in the Young Business Achiever competition, in the "Top Achievement" category. In 2004 the Polish Confederation of Private Employers honoured him with the Andrzej Wierzbicki award for creating a thriving company and following the principles of business ethics; in the same year he also received the Kisiel Award for "capitalism in good style".
In 2014 Adam won the Polish edition of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition, which enabled him to represent Poland during the international final in Monaco. His business skills and the social activities he undertakes have been noted and praised many times.
And since work is not everything – winemaking is Adam Krzanowski's greatest passion which he fulfils by running his own vineyards. The wine he makes can be tasted by his customers and friends.
Vice-President of the Management Board, Investment and Purchasing Director, Co-owner of the company
From 1993 he was the Director of Nowy Styl sp. z o.o.; in 2001 he became the company's commercial proxy. He took his current position in 2009.
Jerzy gave up his studies and went to Israel where we worked in a restaurant and gained experience. After his return to Poland, in 1991, he set up his own café in Krosno. However, one year later, in 1992, Jerzy together with his brother Adam decided to establish
Nowy Styl Sp. z o.o.
In 1995 the provincial governor of Krosno awarded him the title of the Man of the Year. In 2004 he received the Andrzej Wierzbicki award from the Polish Confederation of Private Employers.
In 2014 Jerzy won the 4th edition of the "Dynamic Entrepreneur" competition. In this competition the prize is given to those owners and co-owners of companies who carry out complex development projects and are characterised by an active approach to management.
Jerzy Krzanowski follows his greatest passion – working for the local community – in the town of Krosno. It was there that he initiated the establishment of the Podkarpacie Business Club and founded the Korczak Foundation providing support to children and young people.
What does he do after work? He likes spending his free time actively ‒ riding a bike or doing Nordic walking.
Chief Finance Officer
He is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics with a degree in Accounting as well as a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow with a degree in Computer Science. Rafał has also successfully completed the program in Strategic Management at the Tilburg University (Holland).
From 1997 to 2007 Rafał Chwast was the Vice-President of the Management Board and Financial Director of the Comarch company. He was responsible for preparing IPO and secondary offerings of Comarch and Interia.pl as well as managing investor relations and legal matters in Comarch. From 2003 to 2006 he was the President of SEG – the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers, managing the association’s work when the Polish capital market law was being adjusted to the EU directives.
Since 2008 Rafał has been the Vice-President of the Management Board and Financial Director of Nowy Styl Group. He is responsible for the Group's finance, IT, acquisitions and the international management strategy of the company.
For many years he has been serving on various supervisory boards of Polish private and public companies. Currently he sits on Selvita supervisory board (biotechnology); in the past Rafał was a board member of NG2 (retail), Telefonika (production), Interia.pl (internet portal).
In 2014 Rafał Chwast won the Laury Magellana ("Magellan's Laurels") business competition in the Manager of the Year 2014 category. He was awarded for developing the company on a global scale and undertaking promotion activities concerning the "made in Poland" quality; having successfully carried out all of the three Nowy Styl Group's acquisition projects in the last 3 years; and being the driving force of changes and innovations in one of the best private enterprises in Poland.
Board Member, Operational Director
He is a graduate of the Mechanical Faculty at the Rzeszów University of Technology.
He has been working for Nowy Styl Group since 2008. At first, he held the position of the Assistant Operational Director, but in 2010 he assumed full responsibility as the Operational Director and became the Member of the Management Board.
Before that, he worked for Delphi Automotive Systems Poland for 11 years, occupying the positions of the Quality Director, Logistics Director and Operational Director. He successfully completed the Delphi Management Program held by ESSEC Management Education; the Elite Leadership Program in ICAN and HBRP as well as the management program at the Advanced Executive Academy.
On a daily basis he is responsible for overseeing teams at different manufacturing plants and the following departments: Technical, Logistics, Quality and HR.
In spite of all his duties he always finds enough time for hobbies. Dariusz is passionate about long-distance running, so he takes part is various marathons and sports competitions. He is also keen on riding a bike and skiing.
Board Member, Sales Director
He is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics; he also studied in Nuremberg and at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has been associated with Nowy Styl Group ever since 2003.
At first, he was involved in building overseas distribution networks in the western countries and exercising the owner supervision over that network. Later he served as the Sales Director and the Member of the Management Board at Baltic Wood SA for one year.
He has been holding his current position since the beginning of 2009. He is responsible for supervising Sales Divisions in Poland and abroad. He is also a board member of the Group’s foreign distribution companies.
His special areas of interest include distribution strategy on an international scale and looking for new development concepts for Nowy Styl Group. Roman is fond of macroeconomics; he is a member of the Association of Polish Economists.
Roman enjoys travelling and good cuisine. For many years he has been passionate about long-distance running. He has taken part in many marathons and won numerous prizes.
